Children Worship & Wonder
While youth and adults worship in the sanctuary, children are invited to participate in worship activities designed especially for them.
Children Worship & Wonder provides a sensorimotor approach to
helping young children encounter God.
During each worship service, children will have the opportunity to encounter and worship God in a manner meaningful to them. The children will see a Bible story told using figures that they can focus their attention on. Each child will then be given an opportunity to respond to that story using art materials or story figures. After seeing the story told and being given an opportunity to respond to it, the children will then be read the story from the Bible. Having heard the story, responded to it with art or figures, it will have more meaning for the child. The children’s worship service will have the same components as the adult service, but will be presented in a more child friendly way.

Grow in Worship
As children graduate from Children Worship and Wonder, they may choose to worship in the sanctuary, or they may participate in Grow in Worship.
Grow in Worship teaches about the foundations and practices of our faith
through story, prayer, and song. Children in grades 4-6 are invited to learn
about the beliefs to which we adhere, found in Acts 2:42, where they devote
themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread
and to prayer.
